Growing up my dad called me HB, because he said I was always hungry and often bored.

When I was old enough to make my own decisions (and my own snacks), my life started revolving around food. Cooking, hosting and hunting down the best snacks. Wandering farmers markets. Reading cookbooks for fun. Falling in love with the idea that food isn’t just something we eat, it’s how we gather, celebrate, care for each other, and remember.

Now being a mom, I plan A LOT! No app has ever matched the satisfaction of crossing something off a piece of paper. I figured there had to be a better, and more fun way, to organize my happy food chaos.

I wanted something I could actually hold. A way to plan meals, celebrate seasons, gather people, and support the food community I appreciate so much.

So I made Hungry and Bored.

Every season, we’ll donate a portion of sales to organizations that support farmworkers.

Stay hungry. Get bored.
